This collaboration with our friends and local coffee roasters, Southeastern Roastery, started with a search to find coffee to compliment Penn Quarter Porter.
We selected a medium roast for a Sumatra Natural bean, called Jantung Mandehling, for its earthy nuances, dark cocoa, spiciness, and elegant layers of dried fruits to pair with the roasty notes in our robust porter while adding depth to the mouthfeel.
